Reservations for the 2023 Season

"FCFS"= First Come First Served

Begining April 17th at 8am reservations will be open for all stays 2-14 days.  

  • Please note that reservations made between April 10th and April 17th cannot be modified and cancellation will result in forfeiture of 100% of the associated fees.
  • Failure to arrive at the campground within 24 hours of check-in on the first date of a reservation will result in the forfeiture of the reservation and all associated fees. Campground hosts will then be able to rent the site to another party. 

Some of our campgrounds are first come first serve only and do not accommodate reservations and some of our campgrounds are open year-round. 

Fire Restrictions

California continues to experience critically dry conditions affecting lakes and reservoirs throughout the state. Please be aware that this will likely impact the PG&E recreation facilities regarding the use of open flames and fire.

Philbrook Campground Enjoy the cedar trees and beautiful views at Philbrook Campground. Located in the Lassen National Forest, the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. campground provides fishing access and a short, paved, car-top boat launch with a gravel extension. There are double vault toilets available and non-potable water. The Lassen National Forest is a premier location for hiking and kayaking. There are no bear boxes on-site, please place all food items in vehicles at night in order to avoid bear issues.
