Haskins Valley CampgroundSet among the beautiful pine trees in a cove at the south end of Bucks Lake, Haskins Valley Campground is a popular vacation spot in California's Plumas County. A portion of the 65 campsites are available through our on-line reservation system. Haskins Valley Campground has a trailer/camper sanitary station, double vault toilets and a nearby courtesy boat ramp at the west end of the campground (associated $10.00 launch fee for non-campers). RV's up to 30 feet in length can be accommodated on a few of the sites, which feature picnic tables, fire rings with grill and potable water. The campground is part of Pacific Gas and Electric Co.'s recreation area which centers around Bucks Lake. The lake has fishing and is a terrific place to swim, boat and water ski.

What FIRE RESTRICTIONS are in place because of wildfire risk? Fire Index Rating based restrictions
When the Fire Index Rating is R4 (Very High): Use of charcoal grills will be prohibited.
When the Fire Index Rating is R5 (Extreme): all fires will be prohibited with the exception of LPG with a shut-off valve. (Smoking will only be allowed within vehicles/RVs)
When the Fire Index Rating isR5-PLUS (Extreme Plus): all fires and flames will be prohibited, including petroleum and LPG devices
The following activities will be restricted to within vehicles/RVs: smoking, use of generators, use of battery powered devices with motors, extension cords and devices with power cords
 
2022 Fee increase. PG&E has not increased fees for most of its managed campsites in over 10 years. To continue to provide clean and well-maintained facilities and customer-based services, PG&E will be increasing its campsite fees in 2022. The increases are based on market assessment of similar types of federal, state, and private campsites located within California.
2022 campsite fees can be found via this link or by clicking the Open & Close Dated and fee schedule link in the uper right corner of this screen.  Fee changes are only occurring at developed recreation sites and not at primitive/dispersed camping areas campsites where operation and maintenance fees are not collected.
How do I make a reservation? All Reservations are made online through this website.  Click on the name or icon for the desired campground and select a date range to check for availability. Reservations can be made for a minimum of two nights and a maximum of 14 nights. Reservations cannot be made within 3 days of your desired arrival date. 
First-Come First-Served campsites are non-reservable. 
How do I cancel my reservation? You can cancel reservations by going to "My Account" and clicking the "Cancel" button. (Subject to Cancellation Policy) If you have an issue completing a cancellation please email Recinfo@pge.com or call (916)386-5164 and leave a voicemail message.  
 
What is the cancellation / change policy? Cancellation Policy: Please note that reservations made between April 15th and April 22nd cannot be modified and cancellation will result in forfeiture of 100% of the associated fees. The cancellation fee is $15.00 per site. Reservations that are cancelled within 7 days of the scheduled check-in are non-refundable (except for applicable taxes and point of sale items).
Change Policy: Changes to the reservation are not allowed within 3 business days of the scheduled check-in date and are subject to a minimum $10 change fee.
Reservations and their associated fees are non-transferable to other campsites within the campground or to other recreational facilities.
If an emergency or natural disaster forces the closure of a campground, we will attempt to notify you as early as possible and refund all camping fees. If you leave early, stay reductions do not qualify for a refund.

Can I reserve a First-Come First-Served campsite? No, First-Come First-Served sites are non-reservable and cannot be secured prior to your arrival at the campground.
It is suggested that you arrive early in the day to secure your campsite, as there are no guarantees of availability. Can I bring my pet? Yes, dogs and other pets are welcome! Dogs and other pets must be under owners' physical control at all times and must not disturb other campers.  It is the owner's responsibility to clean up after your pet and properly dispose of waste in trash receptacle.  Campers with unreasonably noisy dogs/pets may be asked to leave, to ensure an enjoyable experience for all campers.  Furthermore, pets may not be left alone at the campsite or in any vehicles. Can we show up for our reservation late? Campsites need to be occupied, by at least one person, the first night and may not be left unattended for more than 24 hours without permission from the campground host. 
What is the 14 day maximum stay rule? The maximum stay in any campground is 14 days.  The campsite must be vacated by the 11:00 a.m. check-out time.What are the RULES for the PG&E campgrounds?
